FTV Speaking Contest 2019

On 2nd Oct 2019, LnD organized the Final Round of FTV Speaking Contest, a playground for employees to perform their English Skill via delivering speech in Learning Center. Thanks to the support and cooperation of all organizers, judges, contestants and all the audiences, the program was successful, out of expectation. Let’s see again the final results of this contest as follows:

The Winner selected by the judges: Ms. Thu Nguyen with a very convincing presentation "Stop judging other". Ms. Thu had created moments of silence for us to think about prejudices, barriers as well as true values in human relationships in today's society.

Impressive speaker No. 1 selected by audience - Ms. Lien Nguyen - the contestant not only received high votes from the audience, but also received a high rating from the judges with a carefully prepared presentation called "Be a Millionaire"

Impressive speaker No. 2 selected by audience - Mr. Long Nguyen with his speech "S.O. S" regarding the polluted status and protection measures for environment in Hanoi is the second most impressive contestant voted by the audience. From this speech of Mr. Long, Ms. Huong Pham - Head of Factory came up with the idea of a greenery project to protect our factory environment. We hope that this idea will be implemented and responded positively by all member of our factory.

Besides, 3 other speakers: Ms. Ha Tran with the speech "If you’d like to succeed, don't focus on your goal", Ms. Luong Thao with the question "Who do you want to be?" and Ms. Lan Nguyen with the topic "Choosing your career best" also brought unforgettable impressions and emotions in the audience.

All the judges and the audience of this contest said that 6 contestants had convincing presentations and spectacular developments, not just about their ability to public speak, English level but also about confidence, knowledge and maturity after working with FTV Toastmaster.

Amazing Guest- Ms. Hoa Phung (Trade & Shipping team). Thanks Hoa with her wonderful song to create the great atmosphere for all the audiences.

Fortune Teller- Ms. Mai Pham who predicted exactly Ms. Thu Nguyen for the first prize.
