FTV wants all members to have a clear understanding of how the organization is fulfilling its purpose and objectives, how it is changing to fulfill those better; to have their voices, ideas and expressed views taken account of when decisions are made. Therefore, FTV has been spending plenty of efforts engaging its employees together through various activities.
“Employee Engagement” aspect is most and foremost exposed through an open office and facility structure in FTV. Employees often find it very easy and convenient to communicate with to their managers and colleagues around.
Occasionally on the “Happy Fridays”, staffs get chance to join special Snack & Drink sessions inside the office or canteen area, enjoy delicious finger food, fresh fruits, drinks, karaoke singing, dance and even Lucky draws with beautiful music played in the background. Staff members have always been feeling so excited ahead of any Lucky draw session as there are plenty of amazing winning gifts including our original Nokia mobile phone product line.
Next, one of the best memories with many workers here is on International Children’s Day. Every year employees receive thoughtful gifts from the company on Children’s Day for their kids but this year FTV organized the 1st ever celebration with children inside the factory. On this special day, staff had opportunities to bring their children to the company, showing them the amazing workplace where their parents spend eight hours every day. On top of all fun kid activities, they were invited to join the Factory Tour in office, production shop-floor, other factory areas and have been specially treated as Future Employee generation. The kids got the chance to acknowledge of what their parents are doing; how mobile phones products are produced and assembled in a real manufacturing shop floor.
Continuing with another typical point, FTV has obviously defined itself as an ideal workplace where every single employee and members are treated fairly and equally. As a multi-national organization, FTV has offered it diversified workforce a modern, professional and comfortable roof, people from different nations such as America, Finland, Hungary, China, India, Philippines, France, Indonesia are all warmly welcome, supported, which makes them feel like home working here. The superior characteristics is also applied to other aspects such as gender equality, Direct & Indirect Workforces, Internal & External Personnel. On-site support Vendors of FTV also share the same privileges like office area, company bus & meal services and to take part in engagement activities with local employees.
To further demonstrate company’s enormous effort in building up the strong & tight workforce, “Bi-quarterly offsite” is an outstanding example though has just only rolled out in 2018. This is one special day per quarter offered by company HR for all Indirect staff to have one full day outdoor team-building activities. Staff members are extremely happy with this initiative and eager with this exclusive benefit, they are now having much more chances to build and leverage their love towards their colleagues, teams and the organization.
